Hi, I’m Oswaldo "Ozzy" Cortes — a Southern California-based aspiring filmmaker, self-taught photographer, and content creator with a passion for visual storytelling.
I began developing my creative skills independently, teaching myself photography, editing, and production through hands-on experience and consistent experimentation. Over time, that self-driven foundation evolved into a deeper commitment to storytelling through film and digital media.
Alongside my creative work, I serve as a part time city employee with the City of Fullerton, where I’ve gained valuable leadership and organizational experience working in community programs and youth development. My professional background has strengthened my communication skills, adaptability, and ability to lead within fast-paced environments.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Entertainment, and Tourism from California State University, Fullerton, with a minor in Cinema, Radio, and Television. My academic training, combined with real-world leadership and self-taught creative experience, shapes the way I approach every project — with intention, discipline, and heart.
I’m driven by growth, collaboration, and the desire to create meaningful visual work that connects with people.
